Certainly small compared to many zoos, but we were impressed by the variety of animals and the setup. They also put on events for kids, like for Mardi Gras. I recommend it.

The park is small and very shady. Nice for a quick 1/2 day trip.

What a wonderful place! We've been to lots of zoos, and this is one of the cleanest and best set up zoos, with people who really care about showing visitors what they do and why.

We like this little zoo alot. We're on our second annual membership, kids seem to never get tired of this place. We recently went to the Houston zoo which was big and confusing and crowded and made us miss the smallness of the Alex zoo.
