Nice place to watch the world float by... amazing display of watercraft from SUPs to mega-yachts and everything inbetween.

Guess you have to go on a weekend to see the parade of boats. We had to jump into a restaurant during a rain shower and we're fortunate enough to be by The Federal House where I had a few beers.

We love coming in on our boat and going to lunch at one of the many restaurants. The shops are wonderful and it's a great place to people watch.

At the water's edge in downtown Annapolis, views of the Chesapeake Bay; see beautiful boats docked here & on the water, maybe see some notable people. Surrounded by excellent restaurants.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon in summer and it was livley with street muscians, mid-shipman, visitors and boats in the harbor. It was a great place to relax. my grandson kept saluting the mid-shipmen as they passed by.

We sat at Pusser's watching the boats come and go. Most of them simply come in turn around and leave, just to have everyone take a look at them and their boat. Quite the people watching experience.

My wife and I finished a walking tour at this place. I am amazed at how they park boats in there without problems. Lots of activity on a busy summer weekend.

It's always fun to ride around places like this and look at the millions of dollars worth or boats sitting there. I wonder how many of them are used on a regular basis. It'll be busy at weekends and on fine days. Drive carefully.

When I saw that this little inlet was called Ego Alley I kind of chuckled to myself. The yachts along here are nothing. They're small compared to some places I've been.

Certainly, and there are many outdoor cafes that allow dogs. Indoors is not allowed because of silly health dept rules. Not as liberal as Europe, but outdoors is fine.

If he likes boats he will like this area in summer. I'd suggest a ride around the harbor however. Might be more fun for a 7 year old. Would definitely take the Naval Academy tour. Lot more to see for a younger child.
