We celebrated my husbands 50th class reunion. The venue was just the right size and thanks to great weather for cocktails on the deck. The catering was very good. Not sure the name but did a good job.

This is a very small museum that was converted from an old oyster processing house. Much of their displays are focused on oyster harvesting and production than anything else. There was some very nice artwork. Overall not much to see and I wouldn't classify it...More

This is more an oyster museum than a maritime museum. Good for about 45 min and interesting to see the history of the region. Nice views. And apparently a wedding venue too. This is not involved enough to go crazy out of your way for.

The museum is very small, but free. I was very disappointed with the gift shop. Can only park about 3 cars

The exhibits here explain the history and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay in a small setting. They also have a winter lecture series on relevant topics that is well worth attending. In warmer weather there are local-group concerts on the grounds.

This small, free museum showcases the history of the oyster industry in the Chesapeake. The staff are very knowledgeable and did a great job of engaging my kids. Worth a visit.

First, it is free (donations welcome). Second, it is TWO large rooms in the old Mcnasy Oyster Co. building. Thus, 45 min to 1 hr. is about tops unless you are a true officiando. Third, it is hands-on and the main BOAT in the middle...More

There's a small shell parking lot directly behind the building.

At the maritime museum there is a small amount of parking next to the building. But space is limited
