Fun winery, good wines! Knowledgeable sales staff that clearly loves their product. Gorgeous view and nice to be able to buy snacks to have with your wine

I've been here twice for wine tastings. The woman giving the tasting is very nice and knowledgeable about the wines. The fruit wines are so delicious but the Red Rooster and White Hen are my favorites! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a cheese and meat plate as well. Next time we will definitely bring our own snacks,... More

Stopped by for a tasting when I was in the area. Beautiful barn inside. Nice space for tasting. Choice of 6 wines for $8. Choose from whites, reds, desserts and fruit wines. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly. Took the time to answer questions, explain a little history of the barn and the winery. I found reds and whites I... More

We wanted to try the winery for something to do but we got there on a Friday afternoon around 2pm and although the sign out front said it should be open it was closed. There is a big strange foot in the parking lot? Our hotel desk clerk said you can't really tell when they will be open.

My husband and I just visited the Amherst Farm Winery and were not disappointed! This place is especially great if you are a fan of fruity and sweet wines. If you're a drier wine person, perhaps you should skip this place. We enjoyed tasting the various wines and particularly enjoyed the blueberry wine. Staff was very nice. After the tasting,... More

I went for a Birthday treat. You get to select from an array of wines ($5 for 6 tastes and you get to keep the glass). Then if the fancy takes you you can take a chilled bottle to the patio or grounds to have a picnic! There is also an indoors room if the weather doesn't cooperate. No pressured... More

We enjoyed our wine tasting and bought 2 bottles. The pear wine is so crisp and tasty. For $5 you get to taste 6 wines and keep the souvenir wine glass. The tasting room is unheated (its an old barn) so its chilly on a cool day. Dress warm and enjoy!!

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Amherst Farm Winery. After spending some time in the Hadley area, we stopped by and were very happy with what we saw and tasted. The tasting cost $5 each I believe and we were allowed to sample a variety of wine. The workers there were friendly, outgoing, and fun. The tasting... More

As we arrived we were not impressed by the layout or the buildings. However, the interior area that serves at the tasting room is excellent as the architecture is rough sawn, large beam post and beam construction. The tasting locations are elevated in the center of the room. We visited on Sunday, October 12, 2014, mid afternoon. The normal tasting... More
