Many hiking path to chose from in this area. Check out the maps online or there is a map posted. At times can get crowded but still enjoyable. You can easily spend the whole day hiking here. Some trail not mark that well. Do bring...More

Maps are available above the parking lot near the visitor center and also online. The bathrooms at the visitor center are open but the educational room is not although there are sheets for trail-type games (scavenger hunt, etc.) for children in the lobby outside the...More

Nice place to spend an afternoon. The hike is easy, as is the walk. Great view, and safety not a problem

A recent hike at the Notch was amazing. Trails marked well and paths were clear. The white trail was quite steep for a beginner like me but I made it half-way up.

Great hike up the notch on a nice sunny Spring day. We trekked up the notch with our with our dogs who enjoyed all the scents from other critters that traveled the trails. This is an easy to medium hike due to the short incline...More

This is one of our "go-to" hiking spots. Our favorite hike is up the Robert Frost Trail, over to Rattlesnake Knob, and then through the Horse Caves. Sort of steep but worth it. You will love the views. It is frustrating to arrive and view...More

I love walking outside on the Notch trails. If you are able to go with a nature interpreter even better. It is a special place and very beautiful. Nice small walks to some more challenging ones.

Great views, great hiking, great in the fall, less so in the winter. Spring's a bit muddy, but summer can't be beat. There's parking and a small welcome center.
