It's free entry and a lovely tribute to such a wonderful human. Mother Teresa was born in Skopje so she is something they are very proud of. Inside there is a timeline of her life, photos, some personal items including a head scarf, letters she wrote and her noble peace prize. Upstairs there is also a small chapel. I really... More

The Memorial House of Mother Theresa is a five minute walk from the main square along a pedestrian walkway. It is a modest establishment with an outsize statue of Mother Theresa on one side. There is no entrance fee. You walk up the stairs to the exhibit area, which has material relating to her youth, her education, and some of... More

There is even her cape as well as letters she had written and many awards she received. The photos of her with world leaders and even Princess Diana were well worth seeing. Entry is free. There... Make no mistake......this is not Mother Theresa's actual house where she grew up in Skopje. For some reason travelers seem to think it is. Instead, and far more interesting, is a memorial built for her with a small display of her personal items, papers, books, and memos. The upper level is a very nice chapel and worth a few minutes... Small house in the centre of the city which tells you about Mother Teresa and her history. Won't take long to visit but worth it all the same.
