I arrived late in the afternoon, nobody around and was knocked out by the spectacular scenery! The blue ocean, the little rock islands, the crashing waves - a very peaceful spot! I watched the sunset and felt very privileged to have the location to myself!

The walk down a grassy slope at the end of a boardwalk is simply stunning! There is a 180°view of the shoreline that would be a photographer's delight. There are a number of bench seats to rest on the lookout. However, on the way back the walk up hill is tough so I would not recommend for the frail or... More

A short drive and an easy walk down to a lookout platform offered up spectacular views of the Norfolk scenery. The offshore rock formations were superb to look at with waves crashing on to, through and over them, with the birds everywhere a delight. Well worth the drive up from Burnt Pine.

It is possible to drive very close to the monument, or take one of the walking tracks to it. Whatever, it is well worth a visit, for the views alone!

Interesting history. Views magnificent. Roads getting there were appalling. You wouldn't want to break down out there.

We were entranced by the view and the number of different sea birds here. The mini "Apostles" (Victoria, Australia) were definitely photo-worthy, although photos couldn't capture the feel of nature's sculpturing work. Well worth the drive from "town", and the walk from the car park to the look-out. There is a meandering walk from the top to Bird Rock (one... More

The view from the lookout is spectacular - I thought I was going to be blown away though it was so windy. Make sure you hang onto your hats! We did a short walk where the track leads from the seat and found it quite an easy walk for a pensioner. Of course you could go a lot further if... More

Just 15 minutes drive from Burnt Pines. Easy access except that the last part which is quite steep. A good place to watch the sunset but definitely a great place for sunrise.

Nice to see acknowledgement of Cook's landing on NI, though probably not on this particular spot as it is perched atop a hill with spectacular views. Nice grassy area to get to it; perfect for a picnic.
