Puppy's Point affords one of Norfolk's best views. The free (as in included in most packages) Island tour includes a morning tea stop at a home at Puppy's Point. I'm told that it is also the best place for sunset photos.

Gorgeous scenic spot easily accessible from the Burnt Pine township and Kingston historical area. Magnificent views so typical of Norfolk Island - rugged coastline, crashing waves and the ubiquitous Norfolk pines. Beautiful.

Puppy's Point is definitely the best place to catch a sunset on Norfolk Island. On the last evening of my holiday, finally, the clouds dispersed, and I headed out to the point, hoping. This is the place where you can frame your setting sun with majestic Norfolk pines or find a spot where it sinks into the sea, alone, unadorned... More

It's just a glorious place to sit, breathe and enjoy. Well worth the time, pack a sandwich and drink, and then just sit back and relax.

This would be such a great place for a picnic as it is well equipped with tables and seats with a stunning view. There are also toilets at this place. The view down to the beach is just beautiful.

Nice coffee top views. Don't stray too close to the edge and watch out for mutton bird burrows. Great picnic area and fantastic sunsets can be seen from here. They hold some of the Fish Fries here, a must go activity. The food is great and there will be heaps.

Another lovely spot on Norfolk's coastline - and there are many. Picnic tables are provided, as are the views, and it is the perfect spot to end the day, enjoy a drink and snacks and watch the glorious sunset. It used to be the venue of a weekly fishfry but I think this has now shifted to a private cliff-top... More

For picnics this is a great area to visit, especially in the late afternoon. Picnic tables, grassed areas for the kids to play on, and at sunset a beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean.
