You can easily walk to this beach from town, but there is always the option to take the Jitney. The price of the ride from the beach to the Whaling museum is $1.00, the best deal on Nantucket! The beach itself is clean and there...More

The beach was nice and there is a place to buy some stuff that you might need. We ate at Sandbar and it was nothing special. The regular menu that most places in the island offer, the taste that would not make a great mark...More

This looks like something out of the Caribbean, not New England! It's very beautiful, and a popular beach. Well worth the short walk from town.

It is close to town, life guards, next to a restaurant. Water is sheltered and shallow with sand bars on ocean side and jetty phone side. Bottom inside bar is covered with gravel, broken shells. Saw lots of families with young kids

We've spent many a summer here at Jetties. Now there is a great restaurant open the end of the week with a good menu including oysters on the half shell. They have a special price list from 3 to 5.

Easily accessible beach a short car ride (or moderate walk) from town. We went in November on a 44 degree day - bundled up for a gorgeous sunset - beautiful shells - a nice walk with my husband and dog! The restaurant was closed but...More
