We thoroughly enjoyed the historical walking tour and felt it was interesting and a great orientation to the island. Our guide was great. This one was better than the ghost tour.

This was a great way to learn about the town and thriving whaling business way back when. Our guide, Karen, was excellent at bringing out the emotion of the times. Tour is primarily based on the book, "In the Heart of the Sea". I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Nantucket.

Whaling museum was great. While not practiced today in America, it was interesting to learn about what was at one time the whaling capital of the world ..Nantucket is a great place to visit.

Nice job Karen, very informative, entertaining and a must do for visitors to get an accurate representation of the history of the island and the Quaker Wampanog interactions, whaling history and so many other tidbits.

Historic Sites. At $3 a youth (6-17), and $6 an adult this was an excellent bargain. The enriching culture of the historical environment is portrayed very clearly at these historical places. They're all within walking distance.

We had a delightful tour of the town and were given a most interesting account of the lives and times in Nantucket, including excellent historical information and an account of the Essex disaster. This a well worth while way to spend a morning

Even tho it was pouring the day we went, we had a great time and learned a lot about Nantucket's past. Highlight of the tour was the Hadwen House, a beautiful Greek Revival house built by a wealthy merchant and eventually bequeathed to the NHA. In addition to the tour, the $10.00 price includes same day access to other houses... More
