Getting beyond the typical tourist activities (which are fun) this allows for a more in-depth experience of Nantucket Island. Peter Brace is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the island beyond the main town. We went on one of his walking tours and learned much...More

A great way to learn about the island and its history. Very informative guide! We saw a part of the island we would not have seen otherwise. Would highly recommend any one of the tours offered by Nantucket Walkabout as the guide is very knowledgeable.

We had a magical two hour nature trail hike through the forests of Nantucket with author Peter Brace whose knowledge of the animal, plant, and tree life of the island is deep and broad. Around every corner of these well maintained trails is a vista...More

Great place to drink and eat and spend money. Not much else. You can bike like mad. I was kind of disappointed.

Peter is a super knowledgeable guide and it was well worth the modest expense to have his expertise on our lovely guided walk through the Shawkemo Hills area. I am looking forward to exploring more of the island with him in the future, and learning...More

It was definitely worthwhile paying for a guided walk, both for Peter's knowing the location & trails very well, and for all his commentary on the natural history and features of the reservation we walked around.
