A wonderful shop, offering a wide range of Guatemalan items for sale . . . from furniture pieces, glassware, jewelry, hand-made toys and clothing items. I initially thought that I would just browse thru the store in lightning speed, but there were so many things that caught my attention, that it was hard to decide which of the many interesting... I found this place through Tripadvisor and I was very happy I did. They have one of a kind high quality products here, from pillows and throws to wooden spoons and glassware. You can browse the store without having any sales people all over you. They have very good service and prices are very in line with the quality.

My Air Bnb hostess immediately recommended this amazing artist coop because I was looking specifically for quality hand crafted wood utensils and kitchen accessories for Christmas gifts. Be advised that the shop was closed when I visited around 2PM on Christmas Eve day and again on Christmas Day (which is to be expected). But the day after Christmas, I finally... More

Casa de los Gigantes is a well laid out store with better made goods from Guatemala. The pricing is very competitive and the quality better than most shops. I wish I had gone here first.

In the middle of the block across from a large church...this store had a little bit of everything hand-made in Guatemala. Kitchen linens, wood sculpture, jewelry, bags, and almost everything else you can imagine. The prices aren't as good as the markets, but the quality is excellent. You'll find prices vary widely in Guatemala for the same items, you just... More

Beautiful, well-crafted products, lovely service, and many of the goods are made by women's cooperatives.

This store is definitely a cut (or a few) above the typical Antigua craft store. Nicely laid out with high-quality merchandise from various regions of the country. No hard sell here (kind of the opposite - no-one pays attention to you unless you ask them to. I found it a welcome alternative to being followed around by sales people but... More

This stop is worthy of your time just for true Guatamalan ambiance. The AUTHENTIC offerings for purchase are the "best of the best" artisans and their entire co-op. Their stories are as amazing as their talents, be it woodwork, oil paintings, weavers or jewelers. There is no bartering here but the fair prices are a bargain for the outstanding quality.

Do you care about fair trade? About authenticity? About great selection and customer service? Look no farther than Casa de Los Gigantes. Siggy's team has put together an amazing collection of lovely, high quality handicrafts - I use the word Collection because this could be a museum, for all it's beauty. We shopped around and always came back to Los... More

We ran into this place while walking around Antigua. The place was probably a local house some years ago and it has been transformed in a store/gallery. You will find every kind of local handcrafts of every type including wooden artifacts, colorful fabric pieces, toys etc. Compared to other handcrafts stores closer to the central area, prices were a lot...
