Think of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, but more dense and chaotic. This place is HUGE!! While the street vendors on the outside surrounding the main market are interesting by themselves—the main attraction is entering into the main covered market!! Get ready to have your...More

We had a look around the market, which was good. However, were only really there with one intention and that was finding the clothes market. When you do, it is absolutely massive. All 5 of us got a few items each, all of which cost...More

This really is one of the best markets in the world. It is huge! There is so many vendors. The fresh produce section is a must see and you'll see a bunch of fruits and vegetables that you've never seen before!

Packed with handicrafts and the normal souvenirs, enjoy the sensory overload and touristy fun! We found better quality items in inside market areas than the outdoor stalls. Vendors can be pushy and be prepared to bargain.

Very much enjoyed our visit to the Chichicastenango artisan market. As expected it was bustling full of people, sights, and sounds, but it was organized chaos. Lots of people selling the same things, but overall great prices and not catered towards tourists. We only lasted...More
