Very impressive from a distance

Too crowded to get up close enough to see much. Street clogged with locals and tourist visiting the town for Easter.

The scenery here is amazing. On a clear day you can get an awesome shot of the arch with the volcano behind it.

It would be a shame to miss the Arco! Just beautiful! More impressive in person than in pictures obviously! Lots of shops and traditional artisans around the arco. A must do!

I enjoy visiting the Santa Catalina arch at any time but especially in the evenings as the street sellers and local bars and restaurants bring the area to life. My wife from El Salvador and withdramatic indiginous features always makes friends with the local steet sellers making the experience for me all the more real.

Great place to take a interesting photo - especially on a clear day -- but would I go way out of my way to see it? No.

Such a warm welcome to old Antigua. The architecture is beautiful and well maintained. Ask any of the local about the history and they are happy to tell you the story. Afterwards continue shopping near by and journey on to the central plaza.

A must see arch close to Central Park with reams of history surrounding it. Ask around for some info and be amazed by this piece of architecture's long history. A hallmark of any visit to Antigua.
