Just one of the sides of the main square. Houses some government offices, and covered steps facilitate political speeches and other announcements.

large space but rather spare of items to view. It's an important building in Guatemala's history. Some parts of the building are being renovated. In history, it was the governmental center for all of Central America until 1773.

Beatiful building, could only see it from the outside though. Building takes up a whole block, it is very big, during the night they light it up very nicely.

Lovely facade, on the Parque Central. The arches have a symmetry that's stunning, especially when lit up at night.

I rate this only an average attraction as all you can see is the outside. That's impressive in itself, especially at night when the arches are lit, but I really want to know what's behind this imposing facade.

I was a little excited about this place, but it was closed during my visit. It's pretty from the outside and extremely close to the central plaza, regardless!

Really beautiful building and in a lively and fun part of town. Definitely worth a look. Also I would say worth seeing at night when the arches are all lit up.

This is right on the Central Park Square. Was constructed during the Spanish Colonial era approx 1545. Could not go inside, but the exterior has placards that let you know more about the illustrious history of Antiqua.

A beautiful experience taking a closer look at old colonial archetecture. The place is lit up at night and looks breathtaking to the eye one that showcases the relaxing charm of Antigua.

When we visited in July it wasn’t open. We weren’t able to view the beauty of the inside but the outside was beautiful and the street was closed so we were able to get some wonderful pictures.
