Really big bazaar, lots of products. Open air side is acceptable but the closed side smells really heavy. I am suspicious about the hygiene of the cheeses and eggs, they need better refrigerators and air condition. The streets around the Privoz should not be the...More

It's a great farmers market where people come to sell from the villages nearby. You can try everything. Be careful some people there are trying to give you not the best quality especially with the fish, cheese and meat. So carefully examine first

The market is well cleaned and organized. It is the best to go inside because the merchandise is better quality inside , out side merchant are nit supervised by anyone. If you are in Odessa you don't want to miss it!

Visit the "old" Privoz to see where the food on your table comes from. Not for the squeamish, but all human - and a fair amount of animal - life is there.

The New Privoz was build beside the old one but for me the old one is the spirit of Odessa with their unique people and language.

Privoz Market is vast and easy to get lost in but fabulous, fascinating and friendly, especially if you are a serious shopper. We were looking for vegetarian stuff, the choice was extensive and all delicious.
