Great way to walk off some of the food you eat during your stay. Nice views of the city and surrounding area

We spent a few hours walking out from Split centre, up the steps and out into Marjan park. The views across to the islands and back over Split are simply stunning. I'm intrigued to know the story behind the houses hidden in the cliff face....More

This place is worth climbing. Beautiful views to the sea and city, nature and cliffs. Lot of stairs, cafe only in the beginning so take your own water bottles.

Telegrin in Margan are the best views of the entire town of Split. The climb cn be rather difficult but a short walk from split town centre combined with a reasonably short ascend will be rewarded with the most wonderful views! You will know you...More

Peaceful and with some very nice view points. I would recommend to ride a bike inside and around too.

A place with a lot of stairs (And I mean A Lot). Take enough water as there is nowhere to buy anything after the cafe in the beginning. An excellent ending is the Kasjuni beach and the boat transfer from there to Riva in Split

Climb the stairs and enjoy the vieuw. Go further upwards and see the old chuch founded in 1219. Nice panorama and enough shade to rest.

Would it be safe to walk back down after sunset when it is completely dark? Does anyone know if it is well lit?

I would like to go climb marjan hill and was wondering if there are hours that it opens and closes and also if there is a specific trail i should take along my hike. Thanks!

It is a small hill, open always and many trails to the top ( asphalt road too).
