Interesting and verdant. The apothecary was disappointing as the staff were very abrupt but to see the work done by so many generations was quite thought provoking. The missile damage to the exterior wall also makes you think about the trouble affecting this city as...More

Went in the monastery briefly but it was packed. made the mistake of going to the museum which was 30 Kuna and just not worth it. Limited displays with little information. A beautiful courtyard garden is the only thing to recommend. Save your money and...More

Don't miss the museum, it does have an admission charge, there is no bathroom and no public toilet. It is air conditioned; you are not allowed to take photos in the museum. The signs are minimal, but you can buy a guide that explains.

This monastery was included in the Dubrovnik Card.It has beautiful architecture with a cloister which reminded me of the Cathedral in the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona. The pharmacy here is one of the oldest in Europe with a very friendly staff eager to answer any questions.Trulyenjoyable

Lots of parking just outside the city walls but there are also lots of tourists. It may be more difficult to park than you might imagine so turn up early. Parking is also expensive. We took the road south which passes the... More
