This place is an absolutely "must visit". The less people know much about the history of growing olive trees and making olive oil. Neither they know anything about the differences of the qualyties. Here is the place you learn! Go! Now!

A nice little museum with interesting information on olive oil, its use through history and production in Croatia. A tasting experience at the end helps to enhance the visit and your choices at their nice shop.

The marketing for this museum is very good, with the posters and banners and stickers all over town. We expected something wonderful and found only bored staff and overpriced souvenirs.

Modern museum, very informative. Be sure to sign up for the green experience (Olive oil tasting), it's worth it. Tried the Gold experience which includes additional 5 types of olive oil + a dessert but I think the green experience was better.

Great staff. Olive oil tasting is very in-depth and informative. Audio tour covers a lot of Istrian history you may not get elsewhere.

My husband and I visited here today and it was really an eye opener! I would never have thought olive oil so interesting, it's just something you cook with!! Not so! The different smells and tastes were amazing. Well worth a visit.
