Another site that I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to see, but if you're already in Pula, then it's definitely a place to visit. Historically, and architecturally its a really interesting site. Built between 2 BC and 14 AD, it's one of the oldest structures that I have personally even seen. That being said though, apparently it was destroyed by a bomb in WWII and reconstructed, so I'm not sure how much of it is still original. Still, an important site to see if you're visiting Pula to see history.

Very small area inside, frankly not a lot to see (some scattered bits of statuary and a bit of description of reconstruction). But I don't begrudge the modest (2 Euro) fee mostly because the building itself is beautiful, and well reconstructed. Made me feel like I had a bit of a sense of what it would have looked like in Roman times.

A beautiful part of the old town. Seeing some sights like this one is invaluable. The weather was great so the walk through Pula ended with coffee at a beautiful bar called Cvejner

The temple is quite impressive and is in the square called Forum trg. However while looking from the door, I thought the exhbition is quite small hence why I did not purchase an entry ticket. Advice to go during the day because during night many people were sitting on the steps in front of the temple so blocking the view.

Amazing place worth it to visit the small museum inside the price is 10 kunas for adults and 5 kunas students, the temple, originally dedicated to the goddess Roma and Emperor Augustus, is a typical temple structure erected between years 2 BC and 14 AD .

Nicely restored temple. Very small inside but has some bits of statuary and info which prob makes it worth the money (about a £1!) to go in. We enjoyed sitting in the square with a coffee, watching other tourists and admiring the juxtaposition of the temple in the foreground with the huge bulk of the ship being restored in the docks behind it. Old and modern in one!

The temple is great but you can see everything you want from outside. The interior has a modern statue and some below average displays of Roman figures.

Amazing place I highly recommend going to see!! I have just come back from Pula (Start of April) and me and my dad was the only tourist there(basically)!! So we could have photos with just us and the temple!! Anyone ever been to Rome will understand what a privilege this is and feels!! I recommend going to the forum resturant right opposite this as the views from the table are amazing and they do very good steaks and cocktails 🍸😍
