This is part of a collection of Roman remains in Pula. The locals don't seem to make a fuss about them or take particular care to protect them. This is just a temple in a busy square surrounded by cafes. You can wander inside but...More

We paid to go inside and thought there were lots of people sitting there. It turned out t be an art installation. Very cool to see.

Again in the centre of town and adjacent to the Roman arch, a beautiful small temple well worth a quick look. One can only imagine how much of a roman city is beneath the present day Pula

There is not much to see here but it is surrounded by a few decent restaurants. The Pula information office is nearby, too. It is another site in Pula that is not well preserved or kept which is a shame.

I briefly stopped here and took pictures of this attraction plus those of the government building next to it. Noted locals and tourists enjoying their breakfast at the tables spread out around the Square where this Temple is located.

Didn't know that there were such interesting roman structures in Croatia. (Nice surprise). Part of a DIY tour.

You can walk to this building from the amphitheater faster by going down to the waterfront and around the road, than by going straight over the hill through the ancient parts of town, however, the most scenic route would be through the little streets and...More
