A 5 minute walk from the amphitheatre brings you to the Roman Double Gate. You don't have to pay to take a look and walk through. It takes 2 minutes on your way to the old town.

Having visited the major attractions of Pula, I decided to walk back to my hotel and this was when I found it. It is located near a museum that seemed to be undergoing some renovations. Took some pictures and then moved on.

Worth the effort to walk around to this historic gate. It is the history of how long ago they were built that boggles the mind. Probably needs better signage and plaque explaining history.

Its easy to walk past these gates but please take the time for a closer look. Its pure Roman history, still standing after 20 centuries and the locals are walking through just as they have done since 1stC AD. Try to imagine the Roman city...More

This is an old Roman gate not far from the collegium it it isn’t all that photogenic and not that memorable. Didn’t se a good historical information plaque.

We came across this after taking the tunnel to cool down and as a short cut to the amphitheater. No fee to visit

Really close to the other single arch. Again if you’re on a mission heading for the tunnel you could miss this. Impressive all the same

A lovely example of Roman architecture in good condition. Not particularly well signposted but worth searching out when walking around Pula.
