Interesting city

It is very kind city. The old city reminds me the streets of Venice. It is full of history and is a beautiful mixture of modern and old city.

Nothing fancy. A nice square, a view to the cathedral and the sea. The Town Hall is just a nice building with some history behind it and several restorations. A must-see when walking Sibenik.

I do realise that the building was destroyed and rebuilt after ww2 but it does not look authentic with a restaurant and curtains upstairs . It needs to be re thought and it may settle more comefortably back into the ancient square .

The largest Sibenik square, hosting numerours festivals has 2 landmarks: one is the cathedral of St. James, the other is Town Hall. A window broken in the middle, hidious red and white courtains - make this building not so respectable reference building.

You could walk through the whole of this place (Sibenik city walled area) and swear you where on a set of Game of thrones. Perfectly kept and maintained, The locals frequent laid back bars and restaurants and we just loved the area. It is well worth a visit if you can make the trip.

It's a nice small homey square. The town hall lower floors are now a restaurant. The best part is the way the buildings stack on top of it.

As I wrote in the other review about the Cathedral, this square is one the nicest I nave seen on the Mediterranean coast. The Town Hall is a very old building but very well preserved. Sibenik is an awesome place, cant see Croatia without seeing it.

Ok, it's a pretty town hall. Not really a whole lot else to say. Don't look at photos if you are going... Because you'd have seen what there is to see! Nice place to walk past tho. :-)
