What makes this church so interesting is that it used to be a Catholic school, more precisely until the middle of XVII century, but later because of the wars and the arrival of the Orthodox people in Kotor it was given to Orthodox believers for...More

So impressed with this small church. It's quaintness was as overwhelming as some of the largest churches we have seen in Europe. Such character. TIP: Before taking photos inside, always ask for permission, if possible. Remove your hat (if applicable), and don't use flash. Be...More

I loved this tiny church I don't think I have visited smaller. The thousand year history is astounding from wars and earthquakes it still remains. My wife bought her bookmarks from here she liked the quaintness that much.

A small church found when you walk around Kotor, it isn't worth a visit for itself but worth checking out if you intend to enjoy a walk around the city.

Take a quick look inside this unique looking church. Quite a lot of churches in this beautiful little town. Setting is magnificent with the fjords just behind. Beautiful old buildings all around.

We poked our heads in to see this tiny church, to be welcomed by a friar gesturing us to come inside. He continued reading his newspaper as we soaked in some sanctity. I found a selection of very beautiful silver crosses here, at reasonable prices,...More

St. Luke (St. Luka) was built in Kotor in 1195 when the population was almost all Croatian Catholic. The interior of the church including its frescoes, altar and furnishings conform to the Catholic rite. When a large number of Orthodox Serbs came to Kotor, the...More
