Not very detailed models of ships. Not very well done pictures of ships and some portraits. A few sailing artifacts like a sexton, time pieces, etc. I went mostly to see the lemon tree wood furniture which our guide had said was beautiful. I thought...More

Very much your traditional 'displays in cases' type of museum, but a pretty good one all the same. Some very nice models of ships through the ages, along with displays of naval equipment and maritime art. I didn't bother with the audio guide, but almost...More

We went in as part of our Kotor walking tour (of the old city area). It is a nice 3 story building with interesting and well displayed naval artifacts. It is worth spending a little time here while in the old city.

I'm no sailor but I found this museum super interesting. The model boats are really beautiful and detailed and the descriptions are well curated. Also your ticket is a postcard - fun! ⭐️

Visisted many museums wordlwide for less money. The museum is ok, but small. Not so many material in the exposition. Its ok, but if you are used to bigger more professional museums you' ll be dissapointed.

This is a varied collection that to me contains non-maritime objects like land weapons. I looked at the exhibits but they were not impressive. Looking at other reviews, they found it much better than I did. I would stick to walking around town and skipping...More

If you like nautical history and want perspective on the area you wont want to miss this. The exhibits were interesting and well maintained spaning several different ruling nations and the naval conflicts of each.

If your interested in the history of Kotor then this is a must do. Pretty cheap fee 4 euro and audio guides are available if you want them. The display of weaponry is quite fascinating and the model ships intricate and cool. Not too sure...More

The museum really brings to life the strategic importance of Kotor as a port, and the wealth of the early merchants. The display of beautiful weaponry (the bling of the day) was really surprising and impressive.
