If you are planning to spend a day or two, this is a place that worth a visit. There is not much information inside but the lady at the ticket house could share few stories. Interesting place where you could feel the 1940s.

Most war-related sites are now so over-run with tourists that the poignancy of them has been lost. Not so in Nis and you almost feel like you're the only visitor as it is so unspoilt. So much so, that it feels as though the war ended last week and not over 70 years ago. Upon arrival the lady who greeted... More

You can see some remains from prisoners in this camp. Also there is a story about first escape from Nazi camp in this war in whole Europe.

There's many of these camps to visit in Europe, but this one is unique and worth a visit. Left exactly as it was..........it's a sickening reminder of what 1940s Europe endured. There's a small barracks area, still with Nazi emblems and German signs, the prison with 3 levels to view the cells with barbwire lined floors, various grim things on... More

Although this "camp" won't show you much, it's an interesting excursion to not that far history. Best "attraction" of Niš.

Red Cross Nazi Concentration Camp is one of the sparsely preserved camps in Europe. Testify about the suffering of Serbian, Jewish and Roma people in the area during World War II by the Nazis. It has been preserved and very authentic. Not far from the city center, and the working hours he is from 9h to 16h, local time. You... More

Let's pray that our humanity will never have to face such concentrated inhumanity and cruelty what were all the Nazi camps
