The newborn monument is located in front of a mall. While you go see the monument, you can drop by the mall at the same time.

This metal sculpture was made for Kosova's Independence Day and it has changed its view every year. This year, since it is the 10th anniversary of Kosova's Independence, the letter B has been replaced by number 1, and from NEWBORN it has become NEW10RN

As the artistic theme is to keep changing the outlook of the NEWBORN words, its pretty cool. A local friend told us amazing theories about the new vision of the Kosovo mass and I think it is best to spend some time and hear some...More

Only 'RN' left standing now. I'm not sure what's happening but seems a shame. One would think that if there was a meaningful purpose in erecting the monument in the first place then it would be maintained. Maybe life has moved on.

I am sure for the Macedonian people this monument has a big significance for the independence they achieved in the year 2008. But for a tourist like me, it was just a monument consistent of dirty letters, more over the letters N and W were...More

Interesting Art in the City Center of Prishtina with link to the intependence of Republic of Kosovo in 2008. 2 letters have brocken down - I don't unterstand the symbol of this action. A good place for Meet each other and for a photo shooting.

The monument itself isn't very impressive, but the story behind and the fact that Kosovo is still in a struggle to get recognized as a nation makes this spot for sure worth a small visit
