This bridge is what draws so many people to Mostar, and rightly so - both it and the story behind it deserve to be seen and heard. Wander the streets of the Old Town and you'll discover the true cost of the bridge: keep your...More

We parked at the Church parking behind Sveti Petar i Pavao (43.338452 17.808763), it was cheap parking, where they keep an eye on your car. Walking though the old town with the small street shops to the Stari Most is an adventure itself. The bridge...More

A most beautiful quaint town of Bosnia. A must place to visit if you're in the Balkans. The old bridge has been completely rebuilt after it was destroyed in the civil war. Shows how people can get their lives back. Most inspiring.

Sadly brand new yet oozing with history. Can get very crowded, photo opportunities come with some elbowing. Please be careful, It is slippery in the dry, can't imagine what it would be in the wet!

Do not wear flip flops! Really beautiful place to see, take time out from the crowds and go to the war photograph museum on the west side of the bridge to appreciate it all. The bridge is stunning but very busy and slippery. Wear appropriate...More

As one of the main local tourist attractions, the bridge area is very popular and busy but definitely worth visiting. Some visitors may find walking up and down the shiny cobblestones a bit challenging, so care should be taken. Lots of street vendors line the...More

This was my third, and worst, visit in 10 years! The bridge itself is great to see and visit, but there's no reason to allow restaurants to encroach in already narrow cobblestone streets to the point of creating bottlenecks and even single file passages at...More

I have always wanted to see this bridge and my dreams came true this summer. Stari most is just so full of history. Standing at the end of the bridge, I kept trying to replay the video of it being blown apart but I struggled...More

Best view is from the mosque by the river, pay a small fee to climb the minaret and get a stunning view, if you are lucky you will see locals and some crazy tourists jumping off the 24 meter bridge. At night have dinner at...More
