We specifically took a walk here.....in the Schei Quarter.....@ Piata Unirii.....and while we thought the outside was gorgeous......the inside was a definite HMMMM. Would give this a 3.5 if i could. Can't love everything!

The church is a pretty beautiful one, still I don't consider it outstanding. If you are here for the first Romanian School you might as well visit Sf. Nicolae as well.

We were introduced to this building via the free Brasov walking tour. Its history is interesting and its structure, churchyard, and courtyard quite beautiful. It is adjacent to the Romanian plaza and several restaurants.

Well worth a visit if only for the First Romanian School Church, if you can get on a tour the priest is very funny and informative. The Cathederal is worth a visist also.

Although there have been many changes to this church since its founding in the 14th century, it remains interesting. We were fortunate that the chief monk showed us the old school room and the wonderful 16th century books and the old printing press.

It was very reasonable, around 1 euro per person. Its worth a visit and the curator/priest is a really friendly character
