We went in on saturday and this placed was packed with locals. No english description avaliable. There are many local shops selling jade backlets, handcraft woods, etc.

Perhaps most famous place in Mandalay. Buy some gold and climb up to the platform to apply on the buddha. worth a visit.

Its quite a busy place, but there is so much to look at, every corner you turn there is a story, or another budha to look at. Superb views over Mandalay! Could have spent a lot more time here.
