The animals are all confined to small, cement jail cells. The elephants were begging for food. I have not ONE positive thing to say about this zoo!

As compared to 10 or 15 years ago the place has improved to a great extent. Cleanliness and the animals habitat seems improved. Although there's a lot that could be done to improve the quality of food available there. I hope in future they invite over some international chains to have their franchises established at this very important location.

For those who wonder why I would give five stars to Karachi Zoo, is because of the great value for money the place offers. Adults ticket costs Rs20 ($0.18) and children's ticket is for Rs10 ($0.09). Can you beat that? What are the marquee animals in a zoo that children want to see? Lions - white and African; tigers -... More
