It was harrowing to be reminded of the atrocities committed by the US during the war, but more so that so little is being done to make amends.

Not many people go here but this is a small and interesting museum that is not full of propaganda but pretty interesting with charts and figures and left over bombs of course.

As a lover of history and it's fascinating stories, many know that often the bad are overshadowed by more glorious tales of victory and dramatic feats. This museum is dedicated to the travesty that is still happening to this very day, one that most, including...More

The UXO Laos Visitor Center is a tiny, but very informative museum. Every visitor to Luang Prabang should take the thirty minutes it takes to peruse the exhibition and learn more about Laos' history and the ongoing threat caused by bombies and other unexploded ordnances.

Gives a good overview of what happen to Laos during the war and the extensive damage environmentally and the impact on social life. Tremendous effort and educational programs to help reduce fatality due to ignorance.
