Unfortunately there is only one shop open and it has limited stock. Most of the customers have been shot or have left Aleppo. Such a shame.

A very exquisite experience in one's life, walking those narrow and very old streets of the old city which is still inhabited since thousands of years. Unfortunately..., all that is gone now to the war... More

When you walk in Aleppo in the old city you really feel like a basha or Sultan, everything you need and don't need is found there, you feel you want to stop at every place, it has tons of stories.

The last time I visited the Old City in Aleppo, the Civil War had not started. It was a very beautiful visit and I hope that soon I will be able to return

Just a few minutes walk from the citadel, you will get transferred back to the Ottoman period (mid 19th century): spices, faux bijoux, meat, clothes, laurel soaps, sweets, rosaries... etc. Don't miss it

Old city of Aleppo is full of scenes, bars and restaurants. Sometimes I go there with my friends to hangout and take some photographs, Eat and drink. We spend hours there exploring the new places and walking in the Narrow streets.
