dubai festival city mall, the bigger twin of cairo festival city mall. this place looks so small, yet so easy to get lost in. like the one in cairo, IKEA is always a nice addition to the place the location is a bit far from the rest of the famous attractions in dubai, but it's ok

The mall in the Festival City, although still many constructions outside but still you can enjoy the shopping and eating in this Mall. All famous shops are there, Many restuarants, and a Cinima.

Last week we went to this mall and also to the connected IKEA. We roamed around the mall purchased some apparels and than had a good lunch. The mall is quiet nicely laid out with many international brand shops

The Festival City mall connects the Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental with the only IKEA in Dubai. It would have been ideal if the Festival City had a link to the Metro. The Marks and Spencer and Paris Gallery occupy significant space in the Mall. A cineplex, food court and Hyper Panda supermarket supplement the regular stores.

It was last Friday when we parked at the Mark & Spencer parking area and start walking from Bagel Bar till the cinema and coming back. There is huge construction going on to make a fountain look the same as Dubai Mall. There will be a link connecting to the intercontinental Hotel from the Mall. Glad to see cheesecake factory... this mall is between downtown and deira, theres an ikea next door, its on a bus route but not on the metro route so you will have to take the metro to the nearest station and then the bus, it is part of the hop on hop off tour .
