Dubai is such a beautiful and modern place. Palm Islands is amazing and the history is wonderful. Love driving through the tunnel. I could live on that island. So clean.

Parts of the Palm is finished but there is still a lot of construction work going on. Not particularly pretty but worth a visit to see the way it has been built. You can walk along the promenade and there is little caravans selling drinks. Rather expensive though.

The best way to see the palm is go for early morning walk. You can also visit all hotels in the palm jumeriah and this will take you two hours.

A visit to this completely man made wonder is a must when visiting Dubai. Supposedly visible from outer space, it is a testament to what can be achieved if you set your mind to it. It makes a great drive and the layout of the whole place is amazing.

Although it is interesting I was surprised that there is so much work still to do here. Also you cannot really appreciate it form the ground - you need to get an aerial view.

Our guide just drove us thru the island. You can't view the Palm effect unless you are in a helicopter or plane. Nice boardwalk to take a stroll. Atlantis Hotel is pretty cool. The villas are really nice.

You only really get the full sense of this from the air, so unless you take a helicopter tour, you won't get the full sense, but I guess a photo combined with on ground visit is OK. The hotel at the end is nice (and so is the aquarium).

A lot of large buildings and a large hotel. Access by the metro and take a walk. Nice to see from the air as well.
