About
The UAE’s latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ impressive views of Old and New Dubai, while serving as a metaphorical bridge connecting the emirate’s rich past with its magnificent present. Dubai Frame celebrates the story of Dubai from its early establishment to its ambitious plans for future development. Launched in January 2018, the project comprises a 150-metre-high, 95-meter-wide structure being built to resemble a huge picture frame, through which landmarks representing modern Dubai such as Emirates Towers and Burj Khalifa can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can view older parts of the city such as Deira and Karama. Exterior design of Dubai Frame was inspired from the logo of EXPO2020 and it is world's largest picture frame by Guinness World Records. According to Dubai Frame general policy, guests are requested to wear respectful clothing: shoulders and knees to be covered.

    The worth place to visit
One of the most iconic buildings in Dubai. Once you visit it will provide you with a detailed history of the UAE. On one side of the Frame, you see old Dubai, and on the other side is the future of Dubai. An interesting attraction must visit if you are traveling for the first time.

    Cool experience and worth doing
Cool experience. We arrived around 11am just as a slight queue was beginning to form. We spent about an hour here in total - got some great photos. The clear platform to walk on was fun. As we were leaving queues we starting to get much bigger. God value for the money.

A must do when in Dubai
The structure is truly impressive and visiting allows you to learn a little about the past and future of Dubai. The views of the skyline are incredible from the top. We spent about an hour inside and then relaxed on the grass by the fountain afterwards. This is a must do when in Dubai as a short and inexpensive activity.

    Picture perfect!
Frame Dubai is a total win-win! The views from both sides are epic—you get a glimpse of the enchanting old city and the futuristic new city. The ticket prices were very reasonable, so much value for money! Definitely worth checking out!

    A true icon
Dubai Frame is a great experience - good value for money too. You get a real appreciation for old Dubai vs. new Dubai. What a cool idea! Stepping on the glass floor is insane. Great photo opportunities. I just wish it was a little less busy. If you have the time (it doesn’t take long), it’s a nice experience. The building itself is impressive!
Dear ChristianHRoemer, Warm greetings from Dubai Frame and many thanks for this amazing review, we appreciate and value your feedback and will looking forward to welcoming you back again soon at our premises. Sincerely, Dubai Frame Team

    Amazing architecture
We visited dubai frame in the afternoon. The while experience can be divided in three parts. One starts with ground floor, which is more like a digital museum explaining the old way of life in Dubai. Then you go up via elevator to the top of the frame. The time at the top was the most memorable part, epsecially the glass botommed floors from were one can look down to the ground. As one comes down, the last section comprises of souvnier shops, explanation of the architectuture of the building. One needs one and hakf hour to enjoy the place. Must visit in dubai.

A Mesmerising Convolution Of Old & New
An iconic landmark that stands tall to frame both the Old Dubai as well as the New, beautifully connecting the two, metaphorically. The walk from the main entrance to the enclosed queuing space was line with trees, yet the Dubai heat got to us quickly. Once inside, we admired the flowing design of a ceiling installation that moved with elegance replicating a fascinating rotating effect. We climbed up to the mezzanine that had stunning projected displays and installations depicting how Dubai was as we progressed up to the go uptop. The 48 floor journey to the observation deck is covered in 75 seconds in the high speed elevator. Standing 140 metres tall and 95 meters wide, this magnificent creation of concrete, steel and glass, incorporates a ring design, apparently inspired by the Dubai Expo 2020 logo. As we stepped out to the observation deck, the glass center of the bridge was the most intriguing part. Watching funny videos of people getting scared on glass bottom bridges, and crawling to safety, were not funny anymore as we tried walking the glass bottom for the first time. It is scary, but not to the extent of what we have seen, but suddenly experiencing the drop of 140 meters was real and was a thrilling experience for the entire family. Focusing on the views, we noticed the old Dubai representation of humble low tiered housing on the left to the towering skyscrapers on the right, including the Burj Khalifa. It was a beautiful frame on the left and right and being in the middle made one feel like being in the epicenter of this contrast of cultures. There is a cafe to pick something to drink or eat, but we decided to checkout the While you can pick up some coffee or something cold to drink or even catch a snack, we decided to end our tour and decided to descend, with a quick preview of the future Dubai and exited after a quick shop stop at the souvenir shop. It was a wonderful and beautiful architectural treat with fantastic views that framed Dubai, the city of future, perfectly. Family loved this visit more than the Burj Khalifa visit a few days later, but more on that later.

    Awesome Architectural Achievement
The structure itself is very impressive and its very striking when you see it on a taxi ride by and when you start to get up close. The park at the foot of the frame is beautiful and I imagine in Winter its an amazing place to hang out. Unfortunately I was visiting at the start of summer so it was already pretty hot so I didn't spend much time exploring it. Inside the Frame is very impressive and at the top, the disappearing glass that you can stand on never gets old. I was hoping that the tour through the history of Dubai was going to be a little more detailed as I'm fascinated with how this place that used to be a desert has turned into a bustling metropolitan city but it still gave you a flavour of what it was like.
Dear Champamos, Warm greetings to you from Dubai Frame and many thanks for this nice feedback. We appreciate your time and will be looking forward to welcoming you back again in winter season for more enjoyment with time to explore all the products and facilities we are offering here at Dubai Frame. Looking forward to that. Sincerely, Dubai Frame Team

    Fun time at Dubai Frame
I had a great experience at Dubai Frame. It was affordable and quick and easy attraction. We went on a Monday afternoon in July. It was not very busy. There were no lines. It gave great views of Dubai. They serve same refreshments (with a cost) at the top of the frame. I was initially concerned about my clothing (I was wearing a pink dress with spaghetti straps) but I did not have a problem at all. Enjoyable for children, families, and couples.

Bought tix online, as prefer to avoid queuing if poss. We went in the evening, so it was quieter. The frame does look stunning at night, against the night sky, glowing and otherworldly. Great views of nighttime Dubai, had we visited earlier, it would have been nice to see it during the day too - recommend a late afternoon visit, so you can see day, sunset and night!
Good value for money, the ticket isn't costly
No seating up on the viewing area, which would have been nice.
Recommend as quite a unique structure and the glass floor is an experience too!

We waited outside for about 30 minutes but only a portion of this area was in the shade.
It would have been nice if there was more explanation of the history of the city.
The observation floor was over crowded. The staff were a little pushy to have you take their professional photo.

I hope you’re not scared of heights or of queuing - this place is popular and for good reasons. Stunning exterior and design, and once inside and at the top you’ll be able to stand on glass floor if you have the guts for it. The most cool part about coming here is being able to see old Dubai (Deira, Bur Dubai) as well as new Dubai (everything else basically, stunning skyline of skyscrapers). You’ll have to pay a small admittance fee but it’s not expensive.

My spouse and I recently explored the Dubai Frame, an experience I can only describe as phenomenal. Picture a colossal golden frame, gleaming and regal in its stature. Ascending to the top offers a breathtaking perspective that seamlessly merges Dubai's historic charm with its modern-day splendor, akin to a journey through time. And here's a thrilling detail: there's a glass floor that gives you the exhilarating sensation of floating above the city! It's absolutely astonishing. Should you find yourself in Dubai, the Dubai Frame is an attraction you simply can't miss. It's an absolute highlight!

I visited Dubai Frame one Day 4 of my Dubai trip after visiting Museum of the Future in the morning. I would recommend visiting Dubai Frame early in the morning as later it gets pretty crowded. We had to wait for an hour in the line to enter inside. Also it is one of those attractions which have worst public transportation connectivity. When you enter the Dubai Frame, you are shown how Old Dubai was - what all kind of occupations and professions people used to do. Next you take the lift to the viewing deck where on one side you can see skyline of New Dubai and Burj Khalifa and while old Dubai on the other side. There is a glass panel as well on which you can walk and see below the frame. Some interesting facts about the Dubai Frame - It is the largest frame in the world and it is inspired by golden ratio.
Cost - 50 AED for the entry fee.

It is a nice concept where you get to see the view of old dubai from one side and the new dubai from the other side. So it is a great story telling of the Dubai transformation

Good photo point and walk in the air.

Easy to reach via metro or cab.

Overall a decent place though nothing to be too excited about.

Views are amazing, it’s simply a very beautiful structure.

Be ready for some very long queues and atleast hour long waiting time to even get to the lift that take you to the top

Tip - if you are there around lunch/dinner time, then do cross over and have your lunch/dinner at Zam Zam Mandi Restaurant. It actually was the highlight of our visit to the Frame ;-)

Dubai Frame: A Must-See for Visitors!

The Dubai Frame is not just any frame - it's the world's largest! It's a fantastic place to visit, with affordable ticket prices. The Frame offers a unique perspective on Dubai's past, present, and future.

Here are some highlights:

Walk on Air: Experience the thrill of walking on a transparent glass floor at the top, feeling like you're suspended above the city.
Perfect Photo Spot: Capture stunning photos with the Frame as your backdrop. Head to the right side outside the exit, about 50 meters away, for the best angle. (I'll be adding some photos soon!)
Family-Friendly: Enjoy this experience with your whole family.
Tip: During peak season, expect queues. To avoid long waits, aim to arrive by 9 am.

I hope this helps you plan your visit to the Dubai Frame!
