Fabulous!

Amazing water display to music. Every half hour - from classical to rock. Try and get an upstairs seat at a restaurant as the viewing point from the bridge is usually packed

Very nice show, and its free. Worth a look. Would be nicer without the music. It can be very crowded though, trying to find a seat can be difficult.

I absolutely loved the show. The water is in perfect sync with music (some fantastic Arabic song) and although it took like only 3 mins, it was well worth to wait and be crushed by crowds!

This is a wonderful experience. Be sure to enjoy one of the night shows. It is truly amazing with all the colours, lightings, music etc. Be sure to find a nice corner where you can take pictures or film videos from where there wont be other people blocking your view. This is a unique experience and I would definitely go... More

Great show. Best part it's free and every 1/2 hour. Best to see at night with extra lighting. Music, lights & fountain great place to relax. Get there few minutes earlier to get a decent spot. You can see it from the 124/5th floor of Burj Khalifa tower.

Can't get enough of these. Have seen these fountain shows since their opening in 2009 and am always in awe! They come every 30 min, on weekends; go across the bridge and follow the water, there is much better viewing there. Watch a song, walk inside, buy an ice cream, and be ready for the next.

Beautiful water show, perfect for all ages and abilities. Can be viewed from the bridge and the railings although it's best to arrive early to get a space.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
