Sadly the display only last for approx 10 minutes but it was spectacular. They do the display every half hour and although it is packed with people all wanting to see it, it is well worth the visit.

We saw the 21.30 show, which was very short and with only white lights, and the 22.00 one, which was a little longer and with some colored lights, and both were disappointing. We saw better shows around the world (and in Dubai, too, at DUBAI...More

Hundreds of fountains blasting water hundreds of feet in to the air. This really is something to behold and better than those we saw at the Bellagio. There are several restaurants with balconies overlooking the event too - all of which I'd recommend.

Nice show with water, lights and music. Not super interesting but one of the few things to do in Dubai. There is no much culture or things to do in this city apart from shopping and having lunch in restaurants.

I have seen many fountain dance, but this one is totally different and extra ordinary experience. The best thing is every show is on different music with different dance.

It's free if you want to stand in the crowd. If you prefer some privacy or to sit down while watching, you can buy tickets for 20dhs for the recently built Boardwalk opposite Dubai Mall. Or take a boat ride on the lake... More

It isnot directly outside but you cannot get better than Tiptara inside The Palace Hotel Downtown. You are basically on the water in front of the fountains. They have won most romantic restaurant Dubai many times.

You'll enjoy it both ways, but if you want a closer look to take picture or have kids you'll prefer to stand & watch the fountains closely :) you can get a great view in just a few minutes
