This beach is like many beaches in common, there is nothing much that would attract you to it self, except the sand.

A lot of sun and beautiful beach. You may rent a sunbed and an umbrella. Not crowded and good possibility to swim, also for children

The restaurants and bars dotted across the beach will serve whatever your palate desires for after long hours of indulgence in beach activities, no matter it is Arabic delicacies, Italian pizzas, Chinese specialties, European treats or sumptuous international cuisines prepared by award-winning chefs. Speaking of nightlife in Jumeirah, the scene is chic, exuberant and glittery, with a slew of upscale... More

with the introduction of JBR in recent years the public beach has become very over crowded. Particularly at weekends. However it is a beach full of beautiful people and if that's your thing you could sit and watch all day but it's getting more and more difficult to find a little space to call your own so if this is... It was beautiful. The water had a mesmerizing colour. And it wasn't very busy or busy at all when we went. I definitely recommend going here, even if you aren't swimming it's still a nice place to come walk around and take some really beautiful pictures.

I wish USA beaches had sidewalks out on the beach for handicap and strollers. However everyone appears to be handicap. The Persian gulf is nice.

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighbourhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
