Dear readers, I'm living since the past 30 years here and the Safa park was like taking a break from the busy life we all have. Kids played, and we use to do boat rides, run, laugh, eat, have fun at the fair and use to walk a lot. Now Safa park got cut down in size and this is... More

I used to regularly jog around the parks running track, visit the ripe market and have gone with the family and friends for picnics, flying kites and just for fun. Looking forward to see how it transforms once the canal is ready. Beautifully landscaped and planned

We were there in March with a family, weather was perfect, and not too many people. We brought some sandwiches with us, but i guess you can do bbq there as well. There are several playgrounds, so kids were enjoying. The downside is that there are construction works around the park right now, therefore is was a challenge to find... More

We visited this place with two toddlers and the toddlers enjoyed running around as well as playing at the swings and slides and other activities. At present it is close for renovation and should be open soon with some more exciting and great.

Came here as it was a good location for bird watching. Well we were able to see the bird pond off in the distance in the middle of the construction zone. They are extending Dubai Creek so removing some of Safa park for this project. I hope that the bird pond will remain untouched during this project and after completion.... More

Admittedly the nearby construction works for the Canal have affected the water features usually found in this park, but many of the gardens and playground areas are also looking a bit neglected at present. The rubber jogging track around the perimeter of the park has construction blocking it in a few places, and is very dirty. The fairground rides inside... More

One of the nicest parks in Dubai with lots of trees and little lakes and walkways. It's clean and well maintained, the entrance fee is minimal and it's a nice place for a run and picnics in the winter time.
