- Vacation5679996 contributionsSuddenly, India, and a relaxing atmosphereYou want to switch to another mood from Dubai? Head straight to this Sikh temple! Though clearly the only non Indians, we were very well welcomed, after washing hands and wearing some sort of bandana... Temple is so relaxing and bringing inner peace. Just sitting for a while was like recharging batteries. When leaving the temple, no taxis in sight, but again the Indians there were so helpful, and indeed a bus from the community drove all of us without a car to the near Ibn Battuta mall - free of charge mind you. Thanks to all the people behind this, bless them all.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten November 4, 2023

- AJD28Gujarat, India477 contributionsA beautiful, spiritually uplifting centre welcome to allWhat a beautiful, spiritually uplifting experience. Extremely peaceful and a feeling of serenity. Welcoming to all faiths and types. Slow and respectful entry with the ability to carefully enter the prayer hall and offer prayers. Beautiful surroundings, intricately designed and maintained. The ability for all to have langar in the dining area with the only requirement not to waste any food. A lovely ethos and opportunity to mix with those of different faiths. The Gurudwara is easily accessible, adjacent to the Hindu Temple and opposite a church.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten July 24, 2024

Gurdwara is one of those places where you go to find peace, so did this one. But while coming out today the security spoke abruptly while i was with my old mother and upon requesting him to talk politely he did not stop and was coming over me. He even shouted saying that i can complain. To add to it one of another staff may be from admin started shouting on us and my family including a toddler was feeling threatned so i had to take my family away from them. Not sure but felt some bias, may be i am wrong, but the way they both shouted on us and spoke abruptly, is forcing me to feel this way. Will try and raise this to appropriate authorities so others do not face what i and my family went through.

A place of worship does not qualify to be one of the must-visit or tourist places. I strongly believe a place of worship is open to people of all faiths as long as you have faith in you.
I visited this place in search of peace of mind and positivity and what I returned with from this place is immeasurable or unquantified.
I couldn't stay for long but stayed long enough to make a memory, embrace the energy, the faith and the positivity that I needed.

We went to this gurudwara because that day my baby was crying to go to gurudwara. we arrived there 8.23 pm. We request them to let us go only in darbhar sahib even if they allow only one person to take baby up there. they said we could not go in because gurudwara is close even though my baby was crying and sangat was still going on upstairs. Lots of sangat was sitting in darbhar sahib and lunger hall. They said if you go in they will fight with you. We came back with crying baby. we all were very sad and disappointed. First of all what is the reason of security in gurudwara. I think they don't trust our guru. they feel they are more powerful then our guru. Second of all they don't respect guru sangat .that type of people are finishing our religion. ras al khaimah gurudwara is very far from my place i take my kids there they go there with happy mode and return with happy mode. when we go to ras al khaimah gurudwara we returned with a very peaceful mind. It was very very sad moment and I was worried about our religion.

I was highly disappointed in the women’s attire and how the Gianni’s allow them to enter in a place of worship dressed inappropriately. My husband was refused to video us in the gurdwara whilst every attempt was made to respect the Granth sahib. We were refused langar because it was closing time. I did point it out to the committee present there how it is against Sikhs to turn away people from langar and that it’s not a business that gets closed it’s a place of worship. The security guard just laughed at me. Then the older Giani said please come and some tea!!!

I am a hard core believer of Guru Nansk Saheb Ji, The architecture and vibe really amazing,
But please dont have langar in this gurudwara, because we eat lanagar as blessings of wahe guru but the servings what people they are doing like we are there are for free meals and we dont have food at our home to eat, so we visited there for free meal,
The behaviour i noticed it was purely not sewa, it was just like they were treating we are came to have our dinner
Really disappointed and dishonored.
I request to all, please go for darshan only, please dont consider there langar as Prasad,
Because langar should be coming from heart with true feelings.
But honestly those who will serve you, those people dont have seva bhaav in there heart, so its not langar its just they think you are there for your lunch or dinner.
Thanks and sorry,
I have right to write my review.

Me and my friend have visited this place several times. Whenever we come everytime we enjoyed a Lunger and the food was scrumptious whereas the service was ☝️no. Even in 5 star hotels you will not get such delicious food and the service which you will get experience here. Overall this was my memorable trip with good vibes and awesome structure.
Thanks the entire team of Gurudwara!
You people are doing such a great job!
May God Bless All Of Us🙏

What time does the gurdwara shuttle bus come to pick up on Friday on metro and how to contact the shuttle as gurdwara authority ain't replying on email.
Written January 24, 2020
We just took a cab straight there, why wait for any of that
Written January 24, 2020
Is there a free bus service on Friday and if so what metro stop please?
Written May 1, 2019
You need to get a metro train to IBN Bututa Metro station and then take a taxi from there. The Taxi would cost less than 20 Dirhams and it takes around 5 – 10 minutes if there’s no traffic.
Gurudwara also runs a free shuttle service between Energy metro station and Gurudwara every Friday.

Hi, can you provide a headscarf for those that are visiting? Thanks
Written February 23, 2018
Dear Sir, Greetings,
You will find the head scarf in the Gurudwara itself for the free and while coming back you can return the same.
its not important to wear that head scarf only you can cover your head with any of the small handkerchief too.

How to reach Gurdwara sahib from baniyas square metro station??
Thanks
Written December 16, 2017
well you can take a metro to Ibn Batuta metro by changing to red line from Green as Baniyas Square is on green line . you can change at Union or one more station . not sure which one you can check the map. THen from IBN batuta metro , there is a bus which is very frequent it will drop you very near to the Gurudwara , you would be near the church . From there it is hardly a 5 to 10 min walking. Also gurudwara provides shuttle service on weekend i believe from Energy metro or something , once you reach the gurudwara please check in case you want to attend regularly each week or even everyday
