It is a lovely place I got very lovely materials to buy both lace and lining. Satwa is very similar to sabaka. It was a pleasure browsing all clothes and golden trinckets. If you like to save money you can go here rather than the mainstream shopping malls as they are more expensive. Victoria - proud reviewer and explorer on... More

This place is good for shopping. I was looking for chantilly lace & I found a beautiful lace saree at regal shop. There are many shops & nice dress material can be found. There is a mosque too which was looking great from outside. Would love to visit there if I get a chance.

Great area to explore. It's busy and so there's always a lot to see. Especially in the evenings - i found this to be the busiest time.

I have walked through literally hundreds of markets over the years and this one is comparable to any of them. The merchants are aggressive but not overly so like Cambodia or Istanbul. At least they make some attempt at humor and can take no for an answer. Unfortunately, we found nothing to buy since most places get their souvenirs from... More

A convinient place to buy trinkets and hard to find stuff. The place is complete from A to Z ranging from textile, beauty products, hardware , souvenier items to name a few and you can haggle too for the best price. Foreword though that some shops close from 1 to 4 pm. A wide variety of restaurants offering numerous cuisines... More
