I’m not someone who enjoys these types of places but the outrageous opulence on display was beyond belief. No matter wher you went, there was gold jewellery that you couldn’t imagine. Definitely worth a look.

It is a nice experience because you get to see amazing works of art in 18 & 22 karat gold. However, the stores are all extremely crowded and it was difficult to even get to the display cases.

The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the
air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders
call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the
place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to
uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really
began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one

You are in the perfect spot to experience the price negotiation on both side of the fence how much you will get for your old bangles and how much cost the new one. Good luck and save the time

Yes you can at Dubai’s Gold Souk by the fish market or at the Dubai Mall. Remember to barter at the Gold Souk and you will have some people try and sell you cheap knock-offs so remember you get what you pay for
