If you are in Dubai this is the experience not to miss. Appreciate the high technique of the elevator.(1 min. to the 124 level no noise no vibration) the view from the top.

A must do experience when visiting Dubai. Ensure you take direction on finding the entrace as it is located on lower level of Dubai Mall. Allow time to navigate directions. The lift is a quick trip to the top. We went at Sunset and i would recommend this as it is only slightly more expensive however watching the sunset across... More

The Location of this place is excellent, just adjoining to Dubai Mall and surrounded by Dubai Musical fountain, when you tired of shopping in Mall can relax near this place with a nice coffee, the atmosphere is very bubbly and the area is very clean. A must for Dubai Visitor, for going on top of this building you have to... More

Had a chance to visit last week after a number of trips to Dubai. We were confused and opted for the in between primetime slot of 5.30 PM. Wasnt the best of experience to view in the diminishing day light. I strongly suggest that you make up your mind in advance of whether you want to visit the top either... More

The Burj Khalifa is definitely worth a visit. The lift takes you to floor 124, it was very smooth and fast. The view was magnificent but a little bit scary. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely amazing bui8lding - must go up to the top - feels like you are looking out the window of a plane! Try going at 5pm - best of both worlds day and the beautiful lights of Dubai's cities!

Let's get the niggles out of the way first. When you have two queues for different things, leading to a blind desk (you can't see it from the queue, so you have no idea there SHOULD be two queues), it would be really helpful to SIGNPOST them! Now, maybe we were just unlucky because we'd pre-booked, and there was a... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
