We stopped in right before hey closed for the evening. We tried several wines w/ the chocolate truffles to go with. The staff were very friendly. We purchased a few bottles of wine and would love to come back, but a bottle and sit out on the patio. The store also has a variety of items from caramel popcorn, knitted... More

Upon a rival, we thought it was going to be a small wine tasting experience, we weren't expecting much. However, this wine tasting was my absolute favorite. They have five complimentary tastings (generously poured) and just asked for a donation to the monthly charity for tastings after five. The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff was very patient and... More

I love the caramel corn demonstration and found the winery process very interesting...the free samples were a bonus.

We didn't actually visit the winery however purchased a bottle of the dry white wine from a retailer. I LOVE wine and am not overly picky. I opened the bottle and crystallized particles fell from the cork seal. I knew I was in trouble but I was going to try regardless. I took one sip and had to spit it... More

I am a big fan of Michigan wine and I found the ones that I tasted to be excellent! The employees were extremely helpful in helping me make my decision. And I love the fact that they had the breast cancer awareness hand painted wine glasses and the special wine! I bought both a glass and a bottle of wine... More

Ok....so there is no doubt as to why I rated Stoney Acres Winery as high as I did....my family owns it! We have worked very hard to make ourselves marketable to families. Stoney Acres Winery has a variety or wines ranging from Merlot (Silver City Red) and Riesling (Silver City White) to some of our fruit wines including Apple, Blueberry,... More

Nice place but not so nice wine. Unless you like cheaper fruit wine. This place is 'not my glass of wine'. We bought one bottle to be nice but even though the wine tasting was fun there just wasn't the type of wine we enjoy.

Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor patio with an all homemade lunch and wine. Food was excellent, wine is good too.

We came for the first time in July 2015. It's a very nice building. The wine was very good. We bought a couple bottles would buy more again. The ladies were very nice.

This was our first visit and we really enjoyed the new outdoor patio. It is a lovely, relaxing setting. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The baguettes and appetizers were fantastic-we had a nice tray of tapenade, brie cheese and dipping oil as well as a whitefish spread. They have a menu of interesting "winetails"--I tried the Michigan Mojito... More
