Canoes and kayaks can be rented here, and the whole area has a lot of walking trails and places to sit along the river and spend an afternoon in the sun quietly enjoying nature.

Friendly staff got us on the river in no time flat. Gear was all in good shape and single person kayaks were fast in the water. Cascades were super fun and the temperature on the water was blissfully cooler than on land.

Wonderful, went down several times. Easy to walk back up to top of rapids. Sidewalk hot if no shoes. Had fun even with lots of people.

^ "Cigarette lighter" is the 12 volt power outlet in your car, not a flame-type lighter... Just to be clear. :)
