Renting the canoe was quick and simple, they drove us up to Argo and put the canoe in the river for us and off we went! It took us about an hour to get back to Gallup and the canoe trip was scenic and smooth.

The rates are very reasonable. The workers helpful. The exit out of the livery can be crowded but once you get to open water there are so many good directions to go and get pit away from the crowd. The warmer the weather the bigger...More

It was a crummy day and we arrived early. When we got back, about 50 people were waiting in line for kayak vans. It's beautiful! My daughter and I just paddle boated for and hour. My husband and son kayaked. It was a lot of...More

My two teen age daughters and I kayaked the Barton to Gallup trip over the Memorial Day weekend. It took us nearly three hours to complete. The water level is quite low for this time of the year, which doesn't bode well for late summer...More
