The sunrise over Angkor Wat by bike is a great way to see the Natio al Park. There is so much ground to cover that it definitely males it easier. Our guide, Rith, was very knowledgeable about the history and details of each of the monuments. Because many of the trails wind through the forest, going through some sandy spots that several of our group found a little tricky, I would not recommend it for beginner bikers. Just know it's a really long day with quite a bit of physical activity (based on the speed and abilities of your fellow travelers), we went over by about 3 hours. It was enjoyable but we were very tired at the end of the day. I would have liked the guide, who bites this all the time, to slow down and keep an eye on the pace of the group. There were many times he was so far ahead that he had no idea whay was happening with those at the end (there were 6 of us). Not a big deal unless something happens (a broken bike chain, someone taking a wrong turn be ause the lost site of those ahead). Actually, having a guide at the front and the back for bigger groups would be optimum.
