Seeing the temples of Angkor Wat is a must in Siem Reap (in fact, it’s probably why you went there!) and this was a great way to do it. This is a private Jeep too in a really cool looking old style keep. I got picked up early in the morning, made it to Angkor Wat for sunrise and got a great spot for photos, and then we made a stop for breakfast (included in the tour). After that we explored 3 more temples before our lunch stop! Each of the temples were stunning and I liked that I could go at my own pace at each stop or make an extra stop if needed. Both the driver and tour guide were really nice and made it all a pleasant experience. My only wish is that I could wish the tour guide had down a better job telling me about the history of each space. His interventions were often piecemeal and sometimes I couldn’t fully understand. But all in all, I would do it again in a heartbeat!

We did the basic Angkor Wat sunrise and visited six other temples and Angkor Thom. Prathna Son was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. His breadth of knowledge about the Angkor city ruins was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. He knew the history inside and out. He knew every detail about every carving. It stunned us how scholarly he was in explaining everything. He also knew tons about restoration efforts. Beyond that, Prathna was exceptionally friendly and made us feel very welcome in Cambodia. I would strobgly recommend him to any English speakers traveling to Angkor city ruins who want a deep dive into the history and meaning of the ruins.

Son was the best guide to see Angkor Wat at sunrise! I was recommended to Son by a friend who had done a tour his tour the previous week and he did not disappoint. He has so much knowledge of the temples and history and was so kind and accommodating with us. He also took so much time to show us the best photo spots and the lesser known temples. Thank you Son for being the best guide and personal photographer for us!

We used Tours by Jeeps to book three separate private experiences. We did the Sunrise Angkor Wat Tour, The Countryside Tour, and the Floating Village Tour. My husband and both agreed that these were some of our favorite travel memories to date! The tour guides and drivers were all extremely personable, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job tailoring each experience to our personal preferences. Each trip was extremely organized and helped us truly get a glimpse of Cambodian culture. We cannot recommend Tours by Jeeps enough and will definitely use them again in the future! They are not your typical tourist trap but truly help facilitate a unique cultural experience.

We have travelled around the world and visited many historical sites however this tour is one of the best. Makara our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgable and knew all the cool spots for photos. He was very kind and patient and allowed us to take lots of photos as we are keen photographers.
Marco our driver was also a very good driver and prepared us a very nice snack after one of the temple visits.
The tour may be more expensive then the others however it is worth every penny and the service is 5 star. We have learnt so much as well as captured plenty of stunning photos that we just wouldn’t have been possible without Makara’s help.

The beautiful temples and countryside were made all the more better by an amazing guide Nimol, as well as the drive and experience in the jeep. I had been here 10 years ago on a tuktuk, which was fun, but from this jeep tour I learnt and experienced so much more! Not only was Nimol informative and knew so much, but he was also warm, kind and made us very comfortable and engaged from the moment he picked us up. The service was great, including a fresh snack and plenty of cold drinks, and they knew the quieter spots and a few hidden stops along the way. Cruising in a jeep is also a great way to feel the complex and the area, and is worth the extra if this is the only time you will visit Angkor Wat. Thanks to the entire team from the initial booking, confirmations, pickup, day out and drop off. Best experience we could ask for!

What a great day! Our guide Sok and jeep driver were fabulous, taking us to off-the-beaten sites and giving us seemingly an exclusive view of the Angkor Wat complex. Sok also pointed out some spots for amazing photos. This tour team is kind and thoughtful,and I highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic experience travelling around the temples in the jeeps. Great hospitality from the drivers and the team. Chen was an amazing tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and great humour. Highly recommend using them to get around the temples in Siem Reap.

We had an amazing trip with Hong to the countryside and the floating village Kampong Phluk . Hong is truly an excellent guide with so many interesting stories. She did a great job at showing us this unique side of Cambodja. Meeting the local people and getting to know their way of life was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Hong and our great driver for an amazing experience we will never forget!
