A cute place and best place to eat in the area

The place is rather far out so may not be worth the trip if this is not en-route to another attraction you intend to visit. The entrance fee has increased to $5 (the website is not updated) which we we thought is rather steep for a small sanctuary. They however have a lunch package, add $3.50 for a main course... More

As it is over 20 km from downtown Siem Reap it may not be worth the effort to visit the Butterfly Farm on its own but since it is close to the Landmine Museum it is an acceptable stop en route to the latter facility. Entrance fee is US$5 which tends to be on the high side as the area... More

An enthusiastic guide took us through. Lovely spot. We had taken a car trip to see surrounding sites. Our driver took us to this overpriced tourist restaurant. We said no and got him to take us back to the Butterfly centre. If you go through the centre you get your meal really cheap.

A great "Stop Off" between Temples, Very well run and great knowledgeable guides. Its really lovely to get so up close and personal with butterflies. Not a thing we normally get to do. Take half an hour out of your day to see this little marvel......its only $5 to enter.

There are buterflies everywhere. Very nice staff will tell you everything you need about their buterflies. You will see butterflies on different stages of live - eggs, catellpilar, cocoon and of course butterflies. They have amazing boxes with cocoons that are opened for every visitor and newborn butterflies are ready to fly into a garden.

We stopped off at the butterflies on the way back from the landmine museum and it was a quiet and enjoyable place to spend some time, especially as the day was hot! The free tour guide was informative and interesting and easily answered any questions - he was particularly good with the young child on our tour!

This is a must-see if you are curious about the life cycle of butterflies & moths of Thailand. Staff are enthusiastic & knowledgable. Bonus is meeting the stick insects!

A relatively small enclosure. Best visited out of the heat of the day as most butterflies will not be flying at midday.

Walking among the butterflies in this gorgeous tropical garden was a magical experience and a real highlight of our trip. This place is more than just a typical butterfly garden you might find elsewhere, as you can learn about the entire lifecycle, watch people handling the pupae, and see and touch (if you're into that) other cool insects here as...
