A good evening; wonderful man to play the cello and fund raise for such a great cause. It lasted over an hour and he spoke and played for us and told stories, probably about 300 people went.

We took a tuc tuc to the children's hospital for the concert but were disappointed that Dr Ritchie was in Switzerland and therefore not able to attend. We watched a film though about the work he had done and I was very very impressed with...More

I learned of this via my guide at the Siem Reap temples. He shared with me that his daughter was being treated for malaria and said how she would likely already be dead without Beat Richner, who works tirelessly around the world year after year...More

Unfortunately this amazing person was overseas the night we went to see him, but we sat and watched the documentary they have about this incredible man and the marvellous things that he has done. It was inspiring and heartbreaking all at once. I went and...More

It was a wonderful night and a privilege to actually hear this man speak, with a bonus cello concert. He has a story that anyone who travels to Siem reap should hear and share. Take time out of your travels to experience this concert.

A little bit boring , all for a good cause , but a little bit contrived , got the feeling donations were expected no matter what , place looked dirty .

Hey to those who have donated blood at the Kantha Bopha hospital in Siem Reap. A new backpacker - friend that I met travelling through Cambodia went there. She said that they used sterile equipment. She was shown the sterile needle. But she has not seen the equipment come out of a sterile package. I really want to go there, but I am also oversensitive about this stuff. So can someone give me some advice there? Maybe someone who has actually worked/ volumteered there?
